A smile can brighten someone else’s day. This is not being unreasonable or unrealistic. This is not being false. This is showing care for those around us.
If we have decisions that we’re involved in, we can aim at the decisions that bring peace, that result in people growing and developing. This will have a different expression for all of us in the different spheres of our influence.
So it’s perhaps something that we need to spend time thinking about and praying about, and maybe even writing down on paper. What is it that I can do today in the day that follows, in the weeks that follow to aim at peace and building others up?
I am certain that if we pray this prayer, honestly the Holy Spirit will guide us towards peace and mutual upbuilding. And so I say again, my friends, let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. That is guidance straight from the word of God.
