Two Corinthians chapter four, verse 18. As we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Paul is reminding us that not everything that we can see is all that there is. There are things in the spiritual realm of which our five senses cannot perceive. Paul reminds us to take into account those things that we cannot see, hear, taste, touch, or smell.
The things of eternity, the things of God, the Kingdom of God, advances in a way that we cannot see. Because it is the advance of God’s reign and rule in the hearts of the people who love him, who turn towards him.
