Jesus is the one to whom all authority is delegated. Everything has been handed over to Him by His Father.
We must, therefore turn to Jesus in order to know God and in order to know what God wants of us. There is no other way. But we can be grateful that God has made that way absolutely clear to us.
Thank you, God, for giving us Jesus so that we can come to know you. Thank you that we can trust Him and all that He says about you. Thank you, God, that it is possible and reasonable and desirable and worthwhile for us to put our faith in him and come to know you truly. Amen.
