We have a wonderful, joyful contrast in Acts chapter four, verse 13: Now, when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated common men, they were astonished and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

The Bible is full of these reversals, isn’t it? How the youngest son became king. Jesus constantly talked about the least being the greatest. And now here we see uneducated, common men speaking with boldness and persuasively.

We should never write ourselves off. Because God has power to use us all. I mean, he could use a donkey and he did. So he can certainly use us.

And then look what people see when we are filled with God. "They recognised that they had been with Jesus." They looked at Peter and John and they saw signs of the Messiah.

So, please don’t write yourself off, my friend. Please don’t think God can’t use you. Because he most certainly can.

We don’t need to be highly educated or articulate. We don’t need to be skilled. We don’t need to be strong. We just need to be with Jesus.
