1 Chronicles 16 verse 24 says, Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.

That is our mission, isn’t it? To declare God’s glory. One of the things about God is that He must be glorified.

Why must God be glorified? This is one of the self evident principles of the universe. God must be glorified. He is glorified in His creation.

The act of creating the universe expresses God. It expresses His magnificence. It expresses His power. It expresses His omnipotence, His omniscience. He is the one who created everything. Well, don’t you think that someone like that deserves to be glorified?

There is no one who can hold a candle to God. There’s no one as great. There’s no one as amazing. There’s no one as powerful. There’s no one as supreme. There’s no one as wise. There’s no one as loving.

So this is why we must, who are made in His image, we must declare His glory. We must declare His glory among our communities, to our neighbours, to our friends, within our families, and speak of the things that He has done, the things that He’s done in our lives, the things that He has done throughout history, starting perhaps with the work of Jesus on the cross. There is no greater deed than that.

We are here to proclaim and share the glory of God. This is a work that we must do from the moment we’re born to the moment we go to the grave.

Declare His glory among the nations; his marvelous works among all the peoples. Are you ready for that? Let’s do it. Let’s glorify God together.
