There is a place for law within our Christian faith. God still expects us to honour his moral framework, which is heavily focused around love.
And that comes with a promise. Great peace have those who love God’s law. If we take God’s law, this law of love, this law of justice, deep into our hearts, if we make it our mode of operation, we are granted peace through this. Not only do we get peace, we will promote peace. We will spread peace wherever we go.
There is great stability in clinging on to the law of God, which he’s written on our hearts. Peace is the opposite of war, the opposite of chaos. The opposite of stumbling. And I’m sure that you’ll agree with me that this is something our world has great need of.
