Revelation, chapter three, verse 21. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne also as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
This is towards the end of the letter to the church at Laodicia, the one that was lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. And Jesus is saying to this church, I want passion from you. I want you to conquer. I want you to persevere with spiritual matters. And of course, God wants that of all of us because it’s for our benefit and it’s for His glory, and it’s for the sake of the kingdom of God.
