Jesus told us that we were to shine. Let’s listen to what he says in Matthew chapter five, verse 16. In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Jesus actually wants our good works to be seen. Now, sometimes we might think that we’re supposed to do everything in secret, like our giving should be done in secret. Our prayer sometimes needs to be done in secrets. But the work that we do for our communities, for our friends, for our fellowships that has to necessarily be done in public, a lot of it.
