With righteousness and wisdom comes a really good productiveness.
If we are acting and operating and living in a righteous manner, then we can expect the outcome will be that good is done in our lives, in our communities, and in our world. And in that sense, the things that we are given by God, the resources that he gives us, they are multiplied.
But the counterpoint of this is what happens to those who are morally bankrupt who are foolish: they die. Their lack of sense kills them. And in some cases that will be physical and in other cases it’s moral degradation leads to destruction, chaos in their own lives and around them.
I know which side of these scales I would rather be on. So then this gives us good reason to pursue righteousness and wisdom, and to shun foolishness and unrighteousness.
