Just because you’re young, that doesn’t mean you can’t be effective for God. And for those of us who may not consider ourselves to be young, but are looking on young people, it tells us not to despise the young people, rather to look at the example that they’re setting in their speech, in their conduct, in how they operate in this world.
And this setting an example is important. Not because we have standards that we have to follow in order to be accepted by God. But we are Christians. And if we are Christians, our conduct should reflect our salvation.
Now we are gonna stumble, we’re gonna fall, we’re gonna blow it. But so far as it depends on us, we should be reaching for something better in how we live, in how we talk to people, in how we run our lives.
