One of our jobs as Christians, as witnesses to this world, is to bring the light of God and to shine that light into the world, into our communities, especially places that are dark. And what happens when you switch the light on in a room and that light is intense? It banishes immediately all darkness.
That is what God does because that’s who he is. All darkness has to flee away. He is the light that shines goodness into us. He is the light that gives us knowledge of him so that we can live and walk in that light and become more holy, more godly, more like Jesus.
Thank you, God, that you are pure. Thank you, that because of this we can trust you. We know that your intent for us is always for good and for your glory, which too is good. Thank you that you are a good God. Amen.
