God has made provision for his creatures, even down to the birds, that they can provide food for their young.

We know from what we looked at last that God is extremely generous towards us, but now we know that he is the source. Everything that was created came from him. The energy from the sun that we now depend on to grow our food, to generate electricity that came from God.

Our bodies came from God. He set this universe in motion so that we would have bodies which we could then use to worship him.

He provides food. The very fact that photosynthesis is even a thing, that plants can grow, that we can eat them is all because of God’s provision for us.

And God in this verse notes that the young ones of the ravens are crying to God for help. Isn’t that beautiful poetry? The baby ravens say, we need food. And to whom are they expressing that need? They’re expressing that to God. They, the creatures know that God is their provision.

Are we so sure of that? If the baby ravens can cry out to God for help, so should we.
