This message from Jesus, it’s for all of us. He says, come to me all who labour and are heavy laden. He wants you to come to him and find rest in him.
He wants me to do that too. And so I guess I’m challenged by the word of God as I often am. When I feel like getting off the treadmill is that a sign to me that I haven’t been saying to Jesus please give me your rest. I lay my burdens down and I worship you.
Thank you, Lord God, you care for us so much. You want us to have rest. You want us to have glorious rest. You have compassion for us. You see our burdens. Your heart goes out to us. Thank you for caring so much, and thank you that we find our rest in you. Amen.
