God’s
not looking for strong or educated or wealthy or powerful people. He is looking for submitted people who will love him and obey him.
And so if God has asked something of you that seems absolutely daunting, do not worry my friend. He says to you, as he said to Zerubbabel, not by might, not by power, but by his Holy Spirit. What he asks of us, he will equip us to do.
And sometimes we don’t feel like we’ve got that equipping before we set out. And yet the tools arrive in our hands the moment we need them.
God is a faithful God. He cannot help but be faithful because that is who he is. It’s a core characteristic.
He hasn’t brought us this far to leave us, to let us down. So let us put those cares, those worries, those concerns to one side and trust and rely and lean on our Lord and God.
