My friends, Christianity is a belief system that encompasses joy and pleasure. And if in your walk of faith it doesn’t seem like that to you, then I urge you, press deeper into God. You will know joy.
Lord God, I thank you so much that you allow us to have joy. You want us to have joy. I thank you that you have given us things and relationships for us to experience and in which we can gain pleasure. You are in fact the maker of joy and pleasure, Lord. May we find ever more joy as our relationship with you deepens. Amen.
