God has put order in creation. Now, at the time the writer of Ecclesiastes was writing, death was included, and that is why there is a time to die. Ultimately, death will be completely conquered. There’ll be no more death for us.
But right now, the natural order of our lives is that there will be a time when we are born and a time when we die. And this is all in accordance with God’s will. He allows this to happen. He allows us to die so that those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ are willing to go God’s way will then be free utterly from the curse of sin and death and able to live eternally with him.
And there’s a time to plant, there’s a time when it’s appropriate for you to sow into whatever project you have. Whatever God has given you to do, sow into that and not necessarily immediately see growth. But there will come a time when it’s harvest time and we can see the benefit and the fruit of where we have sown.
