Transcript

If you read through the Bible, you will see so many people in biblical history who were weak, who were flawed, who were cowards, who were adulterers, who were murderers. And these are the ones, these are the people that God uses.

So the boasting then is not about ourselves and how good we are, it’s about how God is glorified in our lives. In spite, maybe even because of our weaknesses. Because in our weakness, we have to submit to Him, we have to say, God, I don’t have strength for this. God, I can’t endure this. God, I can’t do this. I need your power. I need your help.

And so I, as I come even to do this, to create this meditation, have to say, Holy Spirit, please work in me because there’s nothing worthwhile in me unless you put it there first. I’m not good enough to do this, not even this.
