The world tells us to tell each other that you’re a powerful man or a powerful woman. But no, Paul says, Let us say of ourselves, I’m a weak man, I’m a weak woman, but in my weakness God then is glorified. Definitely a challenge for today, isn’t it?
Lord God, I thank you that in your graciousness, in your mercy, in your glory, you choose to use us, weak and failed and flawed beings, your creatures, your children, those you’ve adopted. So in you God we boast, in your power. Please continue to work through our lives, but in such a way that the glory always goes to you. Amen.
