Christians should be on the forefront of all peace endeavours. We should be leading the way in this. We should be demonstrating by our behaviour towards each other, by our behaviour towards those in our communities, our families, and in our society, that we are those who will bring reconciliation, true reconciliation. Not a temporary peace or a ceasefire, but a coming together as one to serve and follow our Lord and God.
That is part of our mission here on this earth. And the challenge to us, the question we have to ask ourselves, I think is How am I discharging that ministry of reconciliation?
