Being patient in tribulation, that’s not quite so easy, is it? Whatever the things are that you go through in your life, to endure them, to say, God, I’m trusting you as I go through this, that’s really hard, isn’t it?
Also hard is continuing to be patient when everything’s hunky dory, and remembering that God still exists. Paul says be constant in prayer. If everything’s going well in our lives, do we forget to pray?
Now think about the most important relationship in your earthly life, out of the humans that you know. It might be a boyfriend, girlfriend, a spouse, it might be children, parents. Whoever that is, what happens to that relationship if you stop talking to that person? If I went an entire day living in the same house as my wife and didn’t say a word to her, what would she think had happened to our relationship?
Be consistent in speaking to him about everything that’s going on in our lives. That is my recommendation to you today, but it’s also my recommendation to me,
