God has created this vast universe so finely tuned to the needs of life, because he wanted to create us. Do you ever think that? Look up at the sky, just be amazed at all that God has done. And then even more amazed that he cares about us. Cared so much that he sent his son, Jesus, who is God, to surrender his human life, to give up his divinity and to die in the most humiliating way we could conceive of.
And yet he, our God, is mindful of us and he does care for us. This is a glorious truth. Wouldn’t you agree?
Oh, thank you, God. Thank you that you do consider us. Thank you that there is a special place in your heart for us, your creatures. We honour and adore you. Amen.
