Jesus Christ became sin for us, went onto the cross for us, died, completely defeating sin and death in the process, and then was raised back to life, and he ascended to heaven. And if we believe that, if we truly believe that, then this is what we need for salvation. Confessing him as Lord, believing he was raised from the dead.
And this isn’t as hard as it might sound to some, I mean, yes, resurrection can seem implausible when we don’t experience it on a day to day basis, but there is plenty of evidence that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.
Jesus disciples believed that He was raised from the dead. They saw Him in the flesh. They saw Him go up to be with His Father in heaven. The Roman authorities were never ever able to produce Jesus’s body because it wasn’t there, of course. He’d been resurrected.
