Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
We are under pressure, my friends, to walk the way that the world wants us to walk. To adapt to what society tells us, in particular in matters of morality.
Resist this, Paul says. We are instead to be transformed, radically changed by the way our minds are renewed. They’re renewed in the process of meditating on Scripture, in learning about God, in prayer, in worship, in allowing the Holy Spirit to do His work in us. That brings transformation, and that’s a process that will last from the moment you are converted to the moment you go to be with your Saviour.
