For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Now just before this verse, Paul has said there’s no distinction between Jew and Greek. So we know that the point that he’s making is that God does not discriminate.
It’s not that he’s saying that everybody who says God’s name is automatically saved, otherwise all the blasphemers across the planet would be going to heaven, wouldn’t they without needing to repent of their sins. No, this isn’t Paul’s point.
Paul is saying that out of everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, who bows the knee to Jesus, who says, I repent and I’m gonna follow you, it makes no difference what race or nationality they come from. It makes no difference what their background is, who their parents were.
