Quite a lot of faiths say that they are the correct one and the only correct one. Others say there are many routes to God. Here’s why Christianity is the only fully accurate faith, the only way to get the best possible revelation of God. And this is from the mouth of Jesus Christ himself.
Matthew 11 verse 27. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. And no one knows the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
Jesus is the way. He is the conduit through which we gain knowledge of Father God, the Creator of the universe. There’s only one way to get this knowledge. There’s only one way now for us to have a true and living relationship with that God, and it’s through knowing Jesus.
And what better way to know Jesus than to read the pages of the Bible, especially the Gospels, but all the Bible surrounding those Gospels is about Jesus. It’s about getting to know who this Messiah is going to be. It’s about predicting His coming, saying the kind of God that He is, and then explaining what that means for us.
Jesus is the one to whom all authority is delegated. Everything has been handed over to Him by His Father.
We must, therefore turn to Jesus in order to know God and in order to know what God wants of us. There is no other way. But we can be grateful that God has made that way absolutely clear to us.
Thank you, God, for giving us Jesus so that we can come to know you. Thank you that we can trust Him and all that He says about you. Thank you, God, that it is possible and reasonable and desirable and worthwhile for us to put our faith in him and come to know you truly. Amen.
