For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.
This is the angel talking to the shepherds. And you can just imagine the shepherds’ reaction. Okay, a saviour, saviour’s come, excellent. In the city of David, that’s the prophecy, yes. Christ the Lord, wonderful. And he’s going to be where? In a feeding trough. What?
