We are limited in time, we are limited in capacity, we are limited in our abilities, we are limited in our thinking, but there is One who surpasses all of that and who accepts us as we are. His name is God Almighty.
And so although Peter has given us some sobering words to meditate on, at least we can also think about the other things that we know. That even though we are temporary in this life, even though we’re not around for long, we have an eternal future to look forward to.
And even though our glory is so limited, that doesn’t matter, because we will be radiating the glory of God. We are being transformed into His likeness. And when we see Him face to face, His glory shining on us will be reflected.
