We are going to have somebody springing from the line of David who will bring justice and righteousness and who will fulfil the promise made to Israel.
And we now know that this is the Messiah who came. This is Jesus. He is the fulfilment of this and many other prophecies as we’ll see over this time of Advent.
God, of course, knew what he was doing and he chose to bless us through this line of David all the way to Jesus Christ. And His justice and righteousness shall be known throughout all the earth.
