Thank you for coming as a humble King, rather than as one that lords it over us, that oppresses us. You come with kindness, with love, with mercy. Let us praise God for these facts and for the fulfillment of this prophecy by Jesus, our Messiah.
Thank you, God, that you turned the tables. People were expecting one thing, but they received another, and the other that we receive is far better than our expectations ever could have been. Thank you for the peace and righteousness that Jesus brings, and thank you that we are able to enter into the salvation that he offers. Amen.
