But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, but my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
And if we look through the history of the bible, all of these characters we see portrayed for us, so many of them messed up badly. They showed their weaknesses for all to see. And God chose to work through them, through David, through Gideon, through Samson, all of these heroes to us of the Faith. They were flawed and broken. And God said to each one of them, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power, God’s power, is made perfect in your weakness."
