So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
Paul is aware of this dichotomy, this dual nature, that is warring inside of him. On the one hand, he is flesh and blood. He was born in sin with the inheritance from our forefather, Adam. But now he is redeemed under the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And it’s this new law, this new law of God, the law of grace that he serves with his mind,
