Are we going to be those who hear the word of God and keep it? When we hear a rebuke or a change of direction being signaled, will we pay attention? That’s what God’s looking for. That’s how to be blessed.
Lord God, thank you that you pour out blessings on us. You are bountiful. You are kind and good to us. But Lord, that isn’t to be our primary motivation. We want to be people who are listening to you and doing what you tell us, to please our Father God. Amen.
