When we read the words of scripture, puzzling though they may be at times, what we know we’ve got here is absolute truth from the creator, the author of everything.
And David is recognising that this integrity is a beautiful characteristic in somebody he worships. He is known for his steadfast love and faithfulness. He is constant. He is always loving towards his children, even though they reject him.
And this for David and for us is a cause for worship.
