The cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what we boast about. We can boast, we can say that Jesus Christ died for me. He died for you. That is the most important thing that has happened in the entirety of human history. And it involves us. That sacrifice of Jesus acquires our salvation.
And so we thank you, God. We thank you for the crucifixion of Christ. You did it for us. You did it out of your love for us. You did it because your purpose was to have a people who would love you and who you would love, to be united in a relationship for all of eternity.
