Everyone is right in his own eyes. But, says the writer of Proverbs, the Lord weighs the heart. The Lord disregards what we believe to be true. He is truth. And he knows where our hearts are at.
It’s so pointless, isn’t it, for us to think that we are right all the time. Our minds, our brains are finite, we can’t possibly measure up to the Creator of the universe, and he’s the one who determines what’s right and wrong. So therefore, why would we elevate our own thinking above his?
