Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Every man tends to think that what he believes to be true, is true. And this is why it’s so hard to persuade people to believe something else other than what they believe. We can’t just persuade people into the kingdom of God. Because there needs to be a change in the heart.
Everyone is right in his own eyes. But, says the writer of Proverbs, the Lord weighs the heart. The Lord disregards what we believe to be true. He is truth.
