This video is going live on the day of my 50th birthday and I can’t think of any better way to mark that day than to worship our Saviour. Listen to this from Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.

The radiance and glory of God. That’s Jesus. While he walked this earth, people didn’t fully see it until they recognised that he truly was the Christ, the Saviour, the Messiah.

The radiance and glory of God is seen in Jesus Christ now, and he’s not just a man. He is the imprint, the exact nature of God. He is God, all glorious. And he upholds the universe by the word of his power. Because of Jesus, our atoms and molecules hold together by the word of his power.

And he has purified us. He’s dealt with our sins. And after all of that, he sat down in the place of highest honour: the right hand of God the Father himself. We worship him. He is truly worthy of our adoration.

Yes, God. Yes, Jesus. Yes, Holy Spirit. We worship you, and we thank you for our Saviour, the Christ, Jesus, our champion, our friend, and our God. Holy is your name. Amen.
