My brilliant wife Sharon, a former primary school teacher, spends a lot of her time providing for the complex needs of twin boys, who have profound special needs. As the pandemic intensifies, she is gearing up for looking after the boys at home. For our son James, who has severe learning difficulties, autistic and anxiety, this includes creating a “social story”/”visual story”, to help him to understand what is happening and why things may be different.
